Hi, I am Lexi Mercedes.
I am a photographer from Maryland. Photography is my passion. I have always loved all things artistic and taking photos. But I never believed I could do it professionally until a few years ago.
Originally I had trained for a whole different career but I wasn't where I truly meant to be. I went back to school, at Anne Arundel Community College, and started in the Photography program. I found where I was meant to be and what I was meant to do. I met other photographers along the way who helped me to learn and grow as an artist. I graduated in 2023 with my Associates in Photography.
I have never felt as though I belong in one place doing one thing. My sister is in a band and I got to experience shooting her on stage and I suddenly had an idea of becoming a concert photographer. I love music of all kinds, being at shows, and getting to meet new people. Once I came to the realization that this dream was possible I knew that was where I fit. I want to be in the fast paced world of concert photography.
